Historic Preservation:  The project area contains several Historic Preservation Overlay Zones.  CRA/LA project staff are developing financial and permitting initiatives to assist homeowners in preserving and restoring the historic character of their homes and neighborhoods.  For specific information, please contact Ken Moye, Senior Planner, at (213)977-1737

Residential Development: The project is primarily residential in nature, and CRA/LA's primary efforts have been to retain this character and upgrade the housing stock.  CRA/LA will entertain proposals for the rehabilitation of existing buildings and development of new housing on small lots.

Economic Development:The Agency has concentrated primarily on neighborhood enhancements such as commercial facade grants streetscape improvements and other public infrastructure improvements.  The Pico Union Staff is always prepared to discuss potential economic development activities with owner-participants.  For more information contact Maxine Chavez, Project Manager at (213)977-2666.
