Please find enclosed a construction notice regarding utility relocation activities at the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and Exposition Boulevard in the Mid-Corridor area of the Expo Light Rail alignment.

What: Overnight Lane Closures

When: Thursday, August 21, 2008 through November 2008, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Intermittent NIGHT WORK, Monday through Friday only)

Where:   Intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and Exposition Boulevard

Traffic Impacts:

On Crenshaw Boulevard, northbound and southbound traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction.

Temporary lane closures on westbound Exposition Boulevard will be implemented. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

Directional signage, electronic message boards and flagmen will be used to safely direct drivers around the construction zones in order to minimize the disruption to traffic.

(Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, unforeseen emergencies and other acts of nature.)
