Building & Other Permit Approval

The Adelante Eastside Redevelopment Plan requires CRA/LA's review and approval of any permit application before the Department of Building and Safety can issue a building permit. The redevelopment plan for Adelante Eastside contains development standards regarding land use, density, design and increased sensibility to historic structures. Developers and contractors are advised to contact Roberto Espinoza, City Planner, at (213) 922-7838 or via e-mail to or early in the process in order to prevent last minute difficulties.
