Description:

Michael Several wrote and produced a pocket guide to public art in downtown’s Civic Center with photographs by Julie Easton and graphic design by Linda Eberle. The project was funded with grants from the CRA/LA's Downtown Cultural Trust Fund and the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department. Artist Profile

Michael Several has conducted extensive research, including in-depth interviews with over 100 artists, architects, and arts administrators, about public art in Los Angeles.  In 1990, Several received a cultural grant from the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs to develop a series of guides about public art in the City of Los Angeles.  His work has been published in the Los Angeles News, Footnotes, Conservancy, and the Public Art Review.  Several lives and works in Los Angeles.
