Description:

(DE-INSTALLED) Four moving wind vanes installed atop tall poles in this corner park. Images depict a tumbling girl, a boy on a bike, a boy playing soccer and a swimmer.

Artist Profile

Kenny Schneider works in a variety of media including drawing, painting, filmmaking, and public art.  Large public art commissions for the artist include the Palm Beach International Airport, Miami-Dade Airport, the award-winning Fire House Project for the Seattle Arts Commission, and the Buell Children’s Museum in Pueblo, Colorado.  Schneider received his BA from the University of Miami, Coral Gables and his MA from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado.  The artist lives and works in La Veta, Colorado where he provides art education to children, teens, and adult.
