Sphere Song Gateway
2008

Project Area: Hollywood
Project: Seily Rodriguez Park

Description:

Sphere Song Gateway consists of a sculptural painted steel gate and fence that incorporate organic forms in the shapes of a tree and a sphere that suspends a chime at its center. Eight decorative yet structural spirals intermittently span the park’s 100-foot front fence and serve as gateposts.

A painted mural comprised of varied and abstracted forms for the west and north walls of the park is planned for completion in January of 2009.
