A new public plaza designed by artist Jacci den Hartog now connects the 4th and Hill Street Metro portal and historic Angel’s Flight funicular railway. The sustainable plaza offers a xeriscape garden and free Wi-Fi.  This project included an artist-designed concrete pattern on the pavement and the use of native, drought-tolerant plants.
