Summary:
CRA/LA and the Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) are seeking proposals from qualified and experienced developers for the rehabilitation and development of three existing mixed-use affordable housing projects jointly owned by CRA/LA and LAHD in the Council District Nine Corridors South of the Santa Monica Freeway Recovery Redevelopment Project Area.
The subject sites include the historic Dunbar Hotel (4225 S. Central Avenue), Somerville I Apartments (4251-4263 S. Central Avenue) and Somerville II Apartments (4201-4219 S. Central Avenue). All three properties are in need of significant rehabilitation. Respondents are required to propose a redevelopment plan that incorporates all three sites.
